Confidence in the imperfections.
That statement is not an easy one to say or really mean - but I mean it. We all obviously have flaws. For instance, I have chubby thighs, big boobs, and a belly - all with a side a stretch marks to go with it. Do you think that was easy for me to write?
Now, do you actually want me to be honest?
Yes, this is not the easiest blog post I could have chosen to write, but most things worth while are not so easy.
I cannot tell you how many times I have looked in the mirror and thought, what if I just took off a little weight here, and oh wait, over here too!
Naturally, we have eyes trained to pick out our imperfections. How unfair is that?
Not what if, but how about we actually do something about that?
How exactly, are some people so confident in their bodies? I don't know about you, but I have asked this question sooo many times!
We feel like we have this mold we have to fit in - but, what if I want to fill the mold, and then some? What's so 'bad' about having a little extra eh?
Yes I do have some extra here and there, but how I have learned to find confidence in my imperfections is to let go of who I think I need to be, and just be who I actually am.
We are not here to settle, and give into picking at our flaws, spending energy wishing we could change them.
SO... let's do something different than we're used to! Let us choose to see our flaws in the mirror, but also see who we are underneath.
We do not have to fit the mold, we can overflow it, and overwhelm ourselves with self appreciation.
Let's have confidence in our imperfections! We can make waves, overfilling our mold, stepping out of the box and doing something a little different!
Like I said, this may be different than we're used to. It's hard too, but most things worth while are not so easy.
Break the mold, be brave and make some waves - because you are made of magic!
