Sharing My Instagram's Biggest Secret...

Believe it or not, there is a method to my madness, and not just any madness, THE madness.

Sometimes I wish we could go back to the good old days, when you could post whatever you wanted and whenever.

Surprise! People quickly found out that in order to sell to ANYONE, you had to sell to your perfect customer first. But Izzy, there's no such thing!

You'd be amazed at how many people have money to spend, they just don't know what to spend it on - that is until someone tells them.

If you want to learn how to tell your customers that they should be spending money on your products, keep reading.

First, If you told any random stranger to buy your product, they'd inevitably ask you "why" first. We don't need to explicitly tell them why, at least not 100% of the time.

How do we achieve this? We show them why they should buy it. No matter how incredible or incredibly boring your product is, we need your ideal customer to trust your brand.

Psychologically, we tend to be more drawn to Instagram feeds that have an overall color theme. Theres also a few more things that play into an eye-catching feed.

Let's say you are a makeup brand for an example.

- Do you post all closeup photos, or full face / distant ones?

Whichever your answer is, it shouldn't be both. Our eyes are attracted to consistency. If we see every three or four photos are close up, then a full body shot, we physically have a disconnect in our brain.

You may be asking, how in the heck does this matter, if I am trying to sell my product, not my Instagram feed?

Our goal is to build a feed that gains trust. We do this by making it the most aesthetically appealing as we can, that way our customers have a higher dopamine release when looking at our Instagram page.

... If your customer is enticed to scroll through not just one, but multiple of your posts, they are bound to read your captivating captions as well. Your captions is when you can express how great your product is AND why they should buy it.

Having a cohesive feed will help support the idea that your product is as great as you say it is, therefore urging them to trust in WHY they should buy your product.

It's all about trust baby:)
